At Raising Cane’s West Coast flagship in Inglewood, California, Roys Rise designed, manufactured and installed a custom glass elevator. Frameless glass doors, a frameless glass ceiling and an under-platform door operator brought a distinctive elevator design into a prominent commercial setting near SoFi Stadium.

A glass elevator for a flagship setting

The restaurant at 3895 W Century Boulevard sits within Inglewood’s sports and entertainment district. Its curved facade and illuminated entrance establish a distinctive presence. Inside, the transparent elevator cab offers views through the glazing, while warm linear lighting traces the ceiling.

From 3D design to the finished cab

Roys Rise’s original 3D design shows the cab, glass arrangement, handrail and platform as a complete assembly. Presented alongside the finished interior, it gives architects a view of both the design work and the installed result.

The installed elevator incorporates frameless glass doors and a frameless glass ceiling. Its door operator is positioned beneath the platform. Together, these details demonstrate the project’s custom approach to glazing and equipment placement.

Installation completed within five weeks

The project required installation within a demanding five-week window. Roys Rise completed the installation within that period, following the company’s design and manufacture of the elevator. This was the installation window for this specific project; schedules for new projects are agreed around their scope and site requirements.
